Air Fryer

First up is an air fryer. These gadgets have skyrocketed in popularity in recent months due to their reduced energy consumption. This craze has been in response to the cost-of-living crisis, as people are searching for ways to reduce their energy usage. There are a number of air fryer brands and products on the market; however, their popularity has meant that people have struggled to get hold of them. Don’t panic, though, as they are more readily available now. Almost anything that goes in the oven can be cooked in the air fryer for a fraction of the time, making for quicker and cheaper cooking.

Slow Cooker

Next is a slow cooker, which is ideal for cooking stews, curries, meats, and more. As the name suggests, slow cookers cook things at a low temperature for a long time. Despite this, they use significantly less energy than an oven. Not only do slow cookers allow you to feed yourself for less, but they’re convenient, too. All you have to do is pop in the food in the morning and let it slowly cook throughout the day. By the time dinnertime rolls around, you won’t have anything to do other than dish up your feast.

Sandwich Toaster

Toasties are a lunchtime staple, and sandwich toasters couldn’t make the making of these any easier. Simply make a normal sandwich, remembering to butter the outsides, pop it in the sandwich toaster, and close it. After a few minutes, you’ll have a toastie that’s crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside.

Coffee Maker

There are a number of people who can’t function without their morning coffee, and a coffee maker allows you to get your caffeine fix with greater ease. This is particularly important when you need your morning coffee to really wake up! There are a number of different coffee maker types out there, including drip coffee makers, pod coffee makers, and press coffee makers. Your coffee needs will determine which is most appropriate for you, so do your research and choose wisely.

Bluetooth Speaker

Whether you need some background noise to finish the housework, or your front porch barbecue needs some atmosphere, a Bluetooth speaker is the way forwards. You can connect any one of your devices to listen to music of your choice. There are a number of brands and products on the market for various different price points. For a standard Bluetooth speaker, though, they’re relatively inexpensive.

Handheld Vacuum Cleaner

Caravans are smaller than traditional bricks-and-mortar houses and can have differently shaped rooms to maximise the reduced space. As a result, a handheld vacuum cleaner is a godsend for removing dust from all the nooks and crannies. This includes gaps in upholstery and awkward corners that you can’t manoeuvre a larger vacuum into. A number of vacuum cleaner brands manufacture miniature versions of their products, allowing you to clean your living space with ease.

Portable Washing Machine

A number of our parks have a laundrette on site, and our more modern caravans may even contain a full-size washing machine. Despite this, if your caravan doesn’t have its own washing machine and you only have a handful of things to wash, you might consider a portable washing machine. While portable washing machines can’t hold a lot of clothes, they use significantly less water and energy, making them a real money saver when it comes to doing your laundry.

Portable Dishwasher

Our more modern caravans contain a full-scale dishwasher, but if you have an older caravan or only have a few dishes to wash, a portable dishwasher can be really handy. These gadgets are small enough to sit on your countertop and are ideal for single-occupancy caravans that don’t go through too many plates. As with portable washing machines, portable dishwashers use significantly less water and energy, and you don’t have to wait days to load them up. Therefore, portable dishwashers can be equally more convenient and affordable for residents of park homes.
